About Me
- Who - 21 White Carneau/King Hubbard Pigeons
- Why - This blog is dedicated to the current 21 pigeons who are learning whatever crazy thing we ask them to so that we may earn our master's degrees and further the research in the field of behavior analysis. Thank you all! I'd like to point out for those visitors to the site who are unfamiliar with our lab, that it is a learning lab. We study how our animals behave and why. This never involves drugs, electrodes, or dissection. Dead birds are not valuable to us as they can no longer learn! We also do not do punishment studies involving shocks or learned helplessness that you may have read about elsewhere. We are always trying to maintain and improve humane treatment standards. This blog is an effort in that direction.
